About Casa Happy Paws

Casa Happy Paws is a seven-bedroom beachfront estate inside the gated Ranchos Estates community on the eastern shore of Punta Mita, on Mexico's Nayarit coast. A main residence and a separate guesthouse, threaded together by tropical gardens, hold seven ensuite (private bath) bedrooms and sleep eighteen — sixteen adults and two children. The plan trades the conventional villa floor for a sequence of open-air pavilions that keep the Pacific in view from nearly every room. Pets are welcome here, and the house is built around that.

At the center stands a thatched palapa (a traditional open-sided, thatched-roof pavilion): an open-air social hub with a full bar and deep lounge seating that acts as the gravitational core of the estate. The main living pavilion opens through retractable glass walls onto an oceanfront lawn and direct beach access, so the line between interior and shoreline stops mattering.

Water is the recurring motif. A panoramic infinity pool with a sun shelf and a built-in jacuzzi anchors the main deck; a separate twenty-meter lap pool answers to more disciplined mornings; and the primary suite keeps its own private plunge. Above it all, the Sky Terrace tops the residence with a stone fire pit and an open sweep of the bay — the most sought-after perch on the property as the light goes long.

Indoors, the estate is set up for long, unhurried stays: a private cinema seats its group before a 170-inch screen, and a two-lane bowling alley shares a wing with a games room, full bar, and pool and poker tables. A wellness cabin runs to sauna, steam, and hot- and cold-plunge pools, with a climate-controlled fitness studio alongside.
