About Estate Venado

5 bedrooms · 8 bathrooms · sleeps 10 guests · 45 min from Puerto Vallarta (PVR)

Estate Venado is a five-bedroom house on the beach at Ranchos Estates, a gated community on the eastern side of Punta Mita in Nayarit, Mexico. The property occupies a stretch of bluff above a rocky cove, with a stone stairway down to the sand and the Marietas Islands visible across the water on clear days.

The architecture is built around a circular palapa (a traditional open-sided, thatched-roof pavilion) pavilion: round stucco columns, a thatched bamboo-and-palm ceiling, and woven rattan lanterns that light the open lounge after dark. Terracotta-plastered walls, carved wood doors, and a collection of Mexican and Asian folk art carry through the interiors, giving the house a specific, hand-assembled character rather than a generic resort finish.

Five bedrooms sleep ten. Each suite has its own bath (eight in total across the house), and most open through sliding glass doors onto a terrace, a teak deck, or the garden. Beds are dressed in coral and turquoise linen, kilim rugs cover marble floors, and carved screens and embroidered textiles stand in for conventional headboards.

Outdoors, a free-form pool runs along the lawn toward the Pacific, lined with teak loungers under a round bamboo shade structure. A BBQ grill and an outdoor dining table for ten sit under the palapa, framed by the open columns and the ocean beyond. Inside, a billiards room and a fully equipped gym give the house its own evening and morning routines. The estate is staffed and booked through Villa Experience, with a private chef, butler, daily housekeeping, and concierge in residence for the stay.
