About Private Estate

10 bedrooms · 11 bathrooms · sleeps 24 guests · 45 min from Puerto Vallarta (PVR)

Private Estate occupies its own reach of white-sand beach inside the gated Ranchos Estates enclave at Punta Mita, on the Pacific coast of Nayarit. Ten suites are spread across three residences — a hacienda-style main house, a separate bungalow wing, and a run of garden suites — built in terracotta and red tile, opening to courtyards and the surf line a few steps past the lawn. The architecture reads old-world, the planting tropical and mature, and the whole property turns toward the water.

A resident staff runs the estate from arrival to departure. The kitchen works from the day's local catch and produce from nearby farms and ranches; meals move between the oceanfront pavilion, a beamed dining room set for sixteen, and the courtyards, where dinners run long and often close with a mezcal poured at the table. Mexican craft and ceramics carry through the interiors — painted vaults, Talavera tile, iron lanterns, hand-thrown urns.

The grounds hold a 23-meter saltwater lap-and-wading pool with a jacuzzi, a private beach club with sun beds and a watersports kit, indoor and outdoor living rooms, a rooftop ocean-view lounge, and an oceanfront fire pit. A full-service spa has two indoor-outdoor treatment suites and a sauna, with a shaded yoga and meditation deck set back in the gardens.

Entertainment runs to a cocktail bar with a concealed screen, a private cinema, a basketball half-court, table tennis, foosball, beach games, and an indoor-outdoor fitness room. Acres of mature tropical garden, with meandering paths and shaded courtyards, wrap the residences and lead down to the sand.
