About Villa Pacífica
7 bedrooms · 7 bathrooms · sleeps 14 guests · 45 min from Puerto Vallarta (PVR)
Villa Pacífica sits on the eastern shore of Punta Mita, a seven-bedroom beachfront house on an 11,000-square-foot site inside the gated Ranchos Estates community. The architecture is direct: clean lines, deep eaves for shade, and walls of red and coral that hold their color against the sky and the water. Designed by Pepe de Yturbe, it reads as one long, low building stepped down toward the sand.
The ground floor is built around the Great Room, a single open volume that runs the width of the house and carries both the dining table and the living area. There are no walls between the room and the terrace; the glass slides back and the floor continues outside. A round dining table seats fourteen under white globe chairs, and the living side opens to the pool deck and the ocean beyond.
The terrace is the center of the day. A heated pool runs toward the Pacific, with a jacuzzi alongside that can be warmed on its own, so a cool morning swim and a late soak both work. Closer to the shoreline there is a fire pit and a set of hammocks slung between coco palms, with direct access to the private Rancho beach a few steps past the lawn.
Upstairs, the suites face the water and the gardens, each opening to a balcony with a view down the coast. The primary suite sits under a curved ceiling with its own sitting area and a bath that connects to a planted outdoor shower. The remaining bedrooms — seven in total, each with its own bath — handle a group of 14 without anyone sharing a wall they would rather not.
